Multi-phase flow

As an extension to single-phase flow phenomena of internal or external flow, multi-phase simulations complement the depth of detail of corresponding issues.

Here it could be a question of e.g. injection processes (AdBlue®, fuel, etc.), filling processes (cooling circuit, battery stack, etc.), the behavior of a gear-box considering the wetting and distribution of oil, or also the calculation of the flow around a ship taking into consideration the wetting and the influence of air and wind. These processes can be simulated adiabatically, as well as taking into consideration the thermal behavior.
