Road-to-Rig- R2R 4x4 Test Rig

Shorter innovation cycles of new and complex powertrain systems like automatic transmissions or hybrid-powertrains require widely and extensive tests and road tests.
The 'Road-to-Rig R2R 4x4' test rig revolutionizes the testing of these systems by simulating the testing of complete powertrains in each development step on the test rig.

Due to the revolutionary controlling concept powertrains of compact cars up to SUV's size can be testetd for our customers on the same test rig without complex inertia compensation. Due to the high control speed of 10 kHz the test piece expiriences load, which is identical to a real test on the road.
The Road-to-Rig R2R 4x4 enables also missuse tests like pop start, parking lock, chess board tests and the turn-over with locked handbrake and offroad test runs.

This test rig facilitates the testing of the powertrain behaviour in each development step like in reality.
