Rennschmiede Pforzheim

Rennschmiede Pforzheim is a registered association founded in 2009. With more than 80 members from three faculties and 14 study courses, a common goal is pursued: Year after year to develop a racing car and participate in the Formula Student. The Formula Student is an international design competition, in which both business conditions and engineering design achievements of the vehicle are presented and evaluated.
From the 2019/20 season onwards, standards will be set and new paths taken - the first electric racing car in the history of racing will compete in the Formula Student FS-Electric competition with over 40 teams.
