CFD multiphysics for complex systems

Understanding flow. Control heat.

From air and fluid flows to heat transfer and particle movements - we use CFD simulations to realistically depict complex physical relationships. Fast, precise and practical - for well-founded decisions right from the early stages of development.

Flow, heat, particles - everything in view

CFD multiphysics for real-world conditions and intelligent product development

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is much more than classic flow simulation. With our multiphysical methods, we analyze flow, heat transfer, particle movement, electric fields and mechanical couplings - all in one model. Whether designing a cooling channel, securing a component under thermal load or optimizing a product in the digital twin: we provide you with reliable findings from the virtual world for real applications.

Our simulation solutions at a glance

We investigate fluidic processes in liquids or gases - from simple pipes to complex flow systems. Pressure losses, flow distributions or vortex structures can be precisely calculated and evaluated using modern data analysis methods. The result: well-founded findings on the efficiency, function and optimization of flow-carrying components.

Our models realistically depict systems with multiple phases - from bubble and droplet flows to condensing or evaporating processes. Phase transformations, transport mechanisms and interactions are taken into account in detail. This allows systems and processes to be reliably designed and optimized.

We analyze heat conduction, convection and radiation in components, assemblies and flowing media. This allows us to detect temperature distributions, heat flows and hot spots at an early stage. This allows you to efficiently design cooling concepts, electronic cooling or thermally stressed components.

By combining electrical and thermal analyses, we simulate current densities, voltages and resistances as well as the resulting heat losses. The coupling with heat transfer and flow enables a holistic evaluation of electrical components.

We analyze the movement of particles in flowing gases or liquids - whether solid particles, droplets or bubbles. Using coupled CFD methods (Euler-Euler or Euler-Lagrange), we calculate transport, deposition, collisions and interactions within the flow. In this way, filter processes, sprays or lubricant systems can be precisely mapped and specifically optimized.

We simulate the interaction between flows and elastic or rigid bodies. This makes it possible to see how valves, membranes, pumps or flexible structures behave in moving media and what reaction the flow generates.

We create digital images of processes, products or test benches in which all relevant physical interactions are brought together. These twins enable in-depth analyses across all spatial and temporal variables - for early findings, reduced test costs and optimized development cycles.
