Green Testing stands for our vision of CO₂-neutral development and testing. For us, sustainability starts with the details: from purchasing from certified suppliers to the use of green electricity and intelligent control of testing processes through to company-wide electromobility. We don't just think about today — we develop structures that are fit for the future: responsible, effective and consistent.

 

 

Green testing made measurable

Numbers, impact & responsibility — in our company and beyond

Sustainability is not just a buzzword for PTS-Prüftechnik, but a clearly measurable goal. Our technologies, processes and investments are geared towards consistently reducing emissions — both in our own operations and as part of customer-specific testing projects.

In the past financial year, we were able to save over 3,000 tons of CO₂— thanks to:

  • 750 MWh of solar power produced in-house, intelligently distributed and used
  • an AI-based energy management system that optimizes consumption
  • the recycling of waste heat for heating and cooling buildings
  • an electrified company fleet with public charging infrastructure

But green testing does not end at our factory gates: our testing processes help to develop products that are more durable, energy-efficient and resource-saving — and thus minimize the ecological footprint over the entire life cycle.

The basis for this progress is our certified environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001which has systematically monitored and transparently documented all sustainability measures since 2020. This creates an impact that goes beyond numbers — for our customers, the environment and the mobility of tomorrow.
